Keri and Brian are people that take their love very seriously. And it’s a beautiful thing. They invited this love into their lives knowing it would be absolutely life-changing. How serious was this love and how life-changing? They got engaged after only four months of dating and then married less than a year later.
They met through mutual friends as they are both very active in the fitness world. (You can read more about that in my blog from their engagement session! They met at an event at Keri’s gym last year. Just a few months later Brian proposed on a bridge lit by twinkle lights by the Susquehanna River in Keri’s hometown of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He followed it up with a romantic carriage ride through the city.
The proposal was representative of who they are as a couple: so romantic and tender with one another. Their wedding day was no different.
They chose to have a small and intimate wedding at Estes Park Resort in the mountains of Colorado. Because they kept the guest list small, they were able to spend a few days there with their close friends and family, exploring the town. They got married over the 4th of July weekend so the town was festive and the mood was celebratory.
So many wedding days can be full of anxiety or stress. But Keri and Brian were the picture of calm with a lot of excitement thrown in. They kept things simple, but added so many valuable moments throughout the day. They watched fireworks alone as a couple after their vows, danced their first song as a local band played, and roasted marshmallows at the reception with their guests.
From start to finish, it was a beautiful day and I’m so thrilled I got to be a part of it! Thank you, Keri and Brian, for inviting me to be a part of your story. It was a joy to watch you guys together and I can’t wait to share these photos!
As always epic thanks to my associate photographer Seth of Seth James Photography.
